There's more to being healthy than just exercising - although that is a huge part!
And healthy doesn't mean slim and losing weight!
1. EXERCISE REGULARLY
So you don't break a sweat every time you have to run back up the stairs to grab your purse!
Although - you might find that instead of breaking a sweat - your thighs hurt because you've just done leg day!
2. DO KICK BOXING OR DANCING OR ANY OTHER SPORT
Because you just want to move your body - or take part in an art.
I'm going to see what Pole Dancing is all about. Not for the exercise per se - but more for the fun of it.
3. VEGAN FOOD IS SO DELICIOUS
Need I say more?!!
I'm not quite vegan - but I am vegetarian - and I have found so many amazingly yummy plant based recipes.
4. TO DEFY YOUR GENES
Moving your body more will help you defy your genes and fight off any unwanted health issues or disease.
Just because 'Aunt May' had a stroke - doesn't mean you should!
5. HAPPINESS IS THE BEST MEDICINE
Find an activity that makes you laugh a lot - or that you simply enjoy.
Happiness and laughter is an anti-depressant and stress relief!
6. TO LIVE LONGER
There's far too much fun stuff to do in life - we need to be able to fit it all in.
7. TO LOOK AND BE YOUNGER
8. TO KEEP UP WITH THE KIDS
9. TO BE SOCIABLE
Work out with friends. It's a great motivator and a chance to catch up.
You can meet new people too!
Or even organize a food prep night. Another chance to hang out with the girls - and you get stocked up on healthy meals.
Working out is not only healthy for your body - but for your mind too.
It makes you look at yourself different. You feel different. You feel confident!
And I don't know about you - but the more I work out - the healthier I want to eat.
